We met at the Cowaramup Community Gardens on a sunny day to immerse ourselves in nature, connect with each other and create. This time it was Branch Weaving that brought us all together. A chance to find and create beauty from an every day object – a humble stick.
Brows furrowed in concentration. Hands working together wrapping, tying, weaving. Transforming and accentuating the organic forms and lines of nature. Scraps of colourful fabric and yarn fall away.
As the sun dropped behind the tree line, we admired our creations.
